Autism isn't a life sentence.
It's an invitation to another world.
Perhaps you've just heard the diagnosis. Or maybe – like I once did – you've been observing your child's behaviour for months, or even years, which differs from what is "standard". You feel anxiety, chaos, and confusion. And at the same time, an immense love that no one understands as you do.
This page was created so that you don't have to search blindly. I will help you delve into the essence of autism, clarifying any doubts and myths.
You will learn how to find peace in everyday life – even one full of difficult emotions, sleepless nights and misunderstanding from those around you.
Discover a community of parents and experts who understand your journey. Join forces, share experiences and build a network of mutual support.
Understanding autism. Finding peace.
I believe that understanding autism is the first step to inner peace. You don't need to know all the therapeutic concepts.
Understand
Learn to see the world through your child's eyes and see their perspective.
Accept
Accept neurodiversity as a unique trait, not a deficit, celebrating its strength.
Start acting
Introduce practical strategies to support the development and well-being of your family.
Remember that you are not alone on this journey – find strength and don't forget about yourself.
This is also my story…
My name is Olga and I am the mother of a high-functioning boy on the autism spectrum. Probably like you - for a long time I felt lost, full of questions, sometimes despair, and other times - hope.
From the beginning, I observed various, individual symptoms in my child that worried me. They were small signals - sometimes barely noticeable, sometimes very clear. Initially, delayed speech, crawling, walking, negative reactions to changes in routine, enormous sensitivity to noise, temperature or touch... But at the same time - wonderful intelligence, great memory, my son's obsessive passion for sharks, which from the beginning seemed "strange".
I felt that something was different. A mother's intuition whispered in my ear that it was more than just a "stage of development". But the environment - nursery, preschool and even specialists - said: "It will pass, children grow out of it."
I was reassured, but I didn't feel calm. Over time, the anxiety grew - together with my child.
I wasted a lot of time. Eventually, the teachers at primary school confirmed my fears. While waiting for a diagnosis that has already lasted over 2 years (living in the UK), I decided to take matters into my own hands and started learning about autism to help my child.
